Refractory Grade Bauxite (RGB)

  • Refractory Grade Bauxite (RGB)

    RGB is a low alkali, High Density product specially designed for refractory applications. The Round Kiln calcining process ensures a high specific gravity and low porosity. Applications include high alumina refractory bricks and castables for the iron & steel, cement, glass and oil industries.

Brown Fused Alumina

  • BTUS

    Due to its high toughness and thermal properties, BTUS is recommended for use general refractory applications.

  • AR

    AR presents an excellent cost/benefit relation, being recommended for refractory application where a high iron content is not an issue.

  • ALOCAL

    ALOCAL is heat treated in a rotary kiln at high temperatures and magnetic treated. These procedures guarantee low iron content in the product and it is recommended for refractory applications.

  • ALOTAB

    ALOTAB is a brown fused aluminum oxide that has had more reduction than AR product so it has higher Al2O3 content (97%). It is recommended for refractory applications.

  • TB

    TB presents an excellent cost/benefit relation, being recommended for refractory application where a high iron content is not an issue.

White Fused Alumina

  • AL

    AL is a white aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces. It is recommended for refractory applications where purity, chemical stability or high refractoriness is an issue to be considered.

  • ALP

    ALP is a white aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina and a small quantity of chromium oxide in electric arc furnaces. It is recommended for refractory applications where chemical stability or high refractoriness is an issue to be considered.

Fused Mullite

  • MUB

    MUB is a fused mullite obtained from fusion of high purity sand and alumina in an electric arc furnace. It presents low thermal expansion and high thermal shock resistance that make MUB an excellent material for investment casting and other refractory applications.

  • MUBS

    MUBS is a fused mullite obtained from fusion of silica sand and alumina in an electric arc furnace. It is less pure than MUB but also presents low thermal expansion and high thermal shock resistance that make MUBS an excellent material for investment casting and other refractory applications.

  • MUBW

    MUBW is an extremely pure fused mullite obtained from fusion of silica sand and alumina in an electric arc furnace. It presents low iron contamination, low thermal expansion, high thermal shock resistance and high temperature strength. It is an excellent material for investment casting and other refractory applications.

Fused Zirconia Mullite

  • MUZR

    MUZR is fused Mullite-Zirconia obtained from the fusion of zircon sand and alumina in an electric arc furnace. It presents low thermal expansion and high thermal shock resistance that make MUZR an excellent material for refractory applications such as slide gates, nozzles, and special refractory parts for the glass industry.

Fused Magnesia - Alumina Spinel

  • MAE-10

    MAE-10 is a fused Alumina-Magnesia Spinel obtained from fusion of alumina and magnesia in an electric arc furnace. It presents high chemical stability due to its macro crystals. MAE-10 is recommended for refractory applications.

  • MAE-26

    MAE-26 is a fused Alumina-Magnesia Spinel obtained from fusion of alumina and magnesia in an electric arc furnace. It presents high chemical stability due to its macro crystals. MAE-26 is recommended for refractory applications.

  • MAE-28

    MAE-28 is a fused Alumina-Magnesia Spinel obtained from fusion of alumina and magnesia in an electric arc furnace. It presents high chemical stability due to its macro crystals. MAE-28 is recommended for refractory applications.

  • MAE-32

    MAE-32 is a fused Alumina-Magnesia Spinel obtained from fusion of alumina and magnesia in an electric arc furnace. It presents high chemical stability due to its macro crystals. MAE-32 is recommended for refractory applications.

Fused Chrome Alumina

  • CRA

    CRA is a high purity, fused chrome-alumina obtained by fusion of calcined alumina and chromium oxide in electric arc furnaces. The level of chromia can be varied up to >90%. CRA exhibits a high resistance to corrosion so it is ideal for refractory applications including refractories for fiberglass furnaces, coal gasification, waste incinerators, impact pads and well blocks, and many more applications.

  • EL-60 Gun, E, and N

    EL-60 is calcium aluminate cement obtained from fusion of high purity bauxite and calcium carbonate in electric arc furnaces. It is recommended for refractory applications. It comes in three versions (Gun, E, and N) with varying set times, depending on the application.

  • EL-61

    EL-61 is a high purity calcium aluminate cement obtained from fusion of calcined alumina and calcium carbonate in electric arc furnaces. It is recommended for refractory applications.

  • EL-70 Gun, E, and N

    EL-70 is calcium aluminate cement obtained from fusion of high purity bauxite and calcium carbonate in electric arc furnaces. It is ball milled with alumina addition which makes EL-70 an ideal product for special refractory applications. It comes in three versions (Gun, E, and N) with varying set times, depending on the application.

  • EL-81

    EL-81 is calcium aluminate cement obtained from fusion of high purity bauxite and calcium carbonate in electric arc furnaces. It is ball milled with alumina addition which makes EL-81 an ideal product for special refractory applications.
